I started developing AbleStable in 2001. The site attracted many millions of visitors and continued to grow over a ten year period. The hook for AbleStable was its directory of creative professionals. People came to search for photographers, designers, writers and the like, then found a lot more of value that encouraged them to further their own creative potential.
The ever increasing rise in automated malicious scripts, and of users that abused the forms that creative professionals used to apply to become members, made updating the site unsustainable, especially as AbleStable was a labor of love rather than a commercial activity. I therefore decided to refocus my efforts in developing creative i world whose sole purpose is to enliven creativity.
